Gone Campin’
Happy Friday, y’all! I’m in the midst of digesting some pizza that we just ordered and suddenly got the urge to update the ol’ blog.
Um, we need to chat. Be honest with me here…am I the only girl who had never heard of a “sock bun ” before? I was introduced to this by some of the girls at work today and I am beyond obsessed.
Yeah, those are obviously not pictures of my hair. I should probably pick up a different colored sock because I tried my first sock bun with a white 80′s style tube sock. Functional only in the house, but I can really get behind this style!
Tomorrow morning, a group of us is heading to [insert town name here because I forget where we're actually going] for a camping weekend! We’ve almost got everything packed up, but we took a little break to catch up on How I Met Your Mother. And by little break I mean 3 episodes.
It’ll be really nice to be totally offline this weekend…no cell service, no computer until Sunday night. Then it’ll be time for grocery shopping, food prep, and cooking for the week!
I think I’ll wake up early tomorrow to squeeze in a workout before trekking off to the middle of nowhere and drinking oodles of beer and eating a boatload of s’mores…
And then grabbing one of these bad boys for the car ride!
Oh. And this happened the other day…
We tried to put Ellie on a leash to bring her outside for a bit. Correction: it was my idea…and Kman just lovingly went along with it. If you can’t tell by her expression, she absolutely HATED it. Well, it was worth a shot!

I’ve never heard of a sock bun before, but that looks cute and also surprisingly easy! Will have to give it a try
How is Rachel Cosgrove going for you??
OMG THE SOCK BUN CHANGED MY LIFE. Sorry for the excitement but I’m totally serious, haha! It makes my life so much easier in the mornings if I’m having a “bad hair day”. Love it. Except when people ask me how I do it, I don’t want to say “there’s a sock in there”, so I mumble that it’s complicated, or something. hahaha!
