Bagel Babbling
Morning everyone! How are you all doing today?
I’m working from home again today because Elli had a time and half at the vet last night. 
She’s on 2 different antibiotics that she has to take throughout the day and also had to get her belly stapled shut. Apparently they didn’t close her spay incision properly at the Humane Society and it got all infected. Poor girl!
She looks like Little Bo Peep though, which is pretty cute haha
Breakfast
All I wanted this morning was half of an everything bagel with cream cheese.
And by half, I obviously mean the half that has 90% of the toppings.
That’s my one gripe with bagels: topping distribution. I actually wish they made a shaker that just has roasted garlic, poppy seeds, salt, sesame seeds, and onions. Whenever little crumbs fall off, a little piece of my heart dies.
If all everything bagels looked like this, the world would be a better place.
Actually, everything bagels aren’t even my absolute favorite. I think that honor has to go to straight up garlic, bad breath and all! Mmm garlic bagel with cream cheese and topped with jalapeño slices! :drool:
Uhhhh OK, enough of my bagel tangent.
Time to pound some caw-fee!
I think today calls for making some homemade pesto! Kman’s mom gave us a lovely basil plant that has been soaking up the sun for a couple weeks. Wooo this calls for breaking out the mortar and pestle she gave us for our housewarming gift 
So pretty! Off to get some work done. Even though I’m working from home, I still showered today…aren’t you guys proud!? Definitely did not wash my hair though. Gosh, who do you think I am?

I agree with your bagel grip! The only way to kind of “handle” it is to eat a whole bag in the method that you’re biting the top and bottom together — breaks up distribution in your mouth hahaha.
My favorite is whole wheat everything bagels, which you can’t find everywhere (sad), but Bagelry on 29th and 3rd has the best!

Elli’s so tiny and sweet and I want her. my favourite bagels are plain ol’ sesame seed, when they’re still warm at the bakery. Yum! I’m not crazy about bagels unless they’re freshly baked. Day-old bagels are just too dry.

Thank you! I think she’s feeling better already. She couldn’t meow when we first got her, and I think it was because she was all stuffed up. Now she’s mewing a bunch!
